What is hypnosis and what is it not?

For many, hypnosis sounds like magic, loss of control, or a stage show. Perhaps you picture someone cluckling mindlessly like a chicken on a stage. But all of that has nothing to do with real hypnosis.

True hypnosis is a gentle state of deep relaxation and focused attention – without any loss of control – by allowing you to open your subconscious and work directly at the root of your issues. You change their meaning for you directly in your subconscious.

In a hypnosis session, we work together – you define the goal, and I guide you in achieving it. It's not about control, but about trust, letting go, and change .

What hypnosis really is:

  • A natural state of consciousness that you experience several times a day – e.g., when daydreaming, just before falling asleep, or when driving on "autopilot".

  • A deep form of concentration – directed inwards, while the outside fades away.

  • A state in which your subconscious mind is open to new, positive impulses.

  • A tool for changing inner patterns that have blocked you so far – such as fears, habits, or negative beliefs.

  • Something you experience while fully conscious – you are aware of everything, can speak at any time or interrupt the session.

What hypnosis is not:

  • No sleep – even if you appear calm and relaxed on the outside, you are awake on the inside.

  • No loss of control – you can't do anything you don't want to do inside.

  • No mind manipulation – you are not without will or “at their mercy”.

  • No show or magic – hypnosis is not a trick, but a recognized method for change.

  • No ! I'm going for hypnosis now, one session will solve all my problems and my new life starts tomorrow! Absolute nonsense!

What can hypnosis achieve?

Hypnosis can help you resolve emotional, physical, or mental blocks where they originated – in the subconscious.

For example, in the case of:

  • Fears (e.g., fear of flying, exam anxiety, animal phobia)

  • Addictions & Cravings

  • Sleep disorders & stress

  • Self-esteem problems

  • Money blocks, stage fright, or sales inhibitions

  • and much more
